  • ‘Goodbye my lover’ by James Blunt

James Blunt served in the Army for the six years between 1996 and 2002, and rose to the rank of Captain. He left the military to pursue his music career. He had spent his leave writing songs and released the album ‘Back to Bedlam’ in 2003, which included the single ‘Goodbye my Lover’. Since then, he has released 5 more albums, the most recent being ‘Once upon a Mind’, released in 2019.

James Blunt has a fairly simplistic style in his music videos, and they are often filmed in one location. A lot of his work is quite sad and dark. My favourite music video of his is ‘Monsters’, as it is an incredibly moving and heartfelt piece of work that is so relatable for so many.

  • ‘That Girl’ by Olly Murs

Olly Murs rose to fame when he finished second on The X Factor in 2009. Since then, he has released six albums, the most recent being ‘You Know I Know’, released in 2018. He has produced several number ones, and in 2016 returned to the X Factor as a host. Since 2018, he has worked as a presenter on The Voice, and is committed to helping identify new and upcoming talent.

Some of his best music videos include ‘Dear Darlin’ and ‘Dance With Me Tonight’. He has a relatively simplistic style in his videos, and they generally feature a lot of performance.

‘That Girl’ does not have a music video.

  • ‘Say you won’t let go’ by James Arthur

James Arthur rose to fame after winning the X Factor in 2012. His winning single ‘Impossible’ debuted at number one in the UK charts. To date, he has released three albums, the most recent being ‘You’ in 2019.

Some of his most popular music videos include ‘Falling like the Stars’ and ‘Say you won’t let Go’.
